In UML, active classes/objects are shown with a thick
rectangle. Rose does not do this simple thing. Such a
pity.

There is a radiobutton in the Details tab of the
class specification dialog under Concurrency that
reads "Active". But Rose does not show it anywhere.
I've asked here if anybody has a stereotype to
install, but no answer.

My solution is, in addition to this radiobutton,
to stereotype the active classes as <<ActiveClass>>.
This stereotype will show on all class diagrams,
but not the interaction diagrams. This is a pity too.

I haven't got the time to try out creating and
installing a stereotype icon, so if anybody ...
... well, I'm all ears and eyes on your images
and settings. (We run both Solaris and WinNT)
