If you change your default language to Java, this will be mapped directly to
the Java types rather than analysis types.

Subject: (ROSE) Data Modeler mapping of column types to Java classes?

After reverse-engineering an Oracle 8 database into Rose 2000e, I select
the Schema package and choose Data Modeler | Transform to Object
Model.... When it's done, columns that were NUMBER types in the table
definition get defined as type 'Single' in the class definition.

Since there is no 'Single' class in Java, does anyone know how can I change
the mapping
used so that it will create 'Float' columns instead?

I found an oblique reference to FundamentalTypes in the Registry entry,
and found that, sure enough, under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Rational
Software\Rose\AddIns\Data Modeler the FundamentalTypes entry had
'Single' in its list. Changing that to 'Float', though, hasn't fixed the
problem.

Thanks. Any clues appreciated.
