These use case stereotyped as a <<use-case realization>> is really just a
traceability construct. Think of it this way... I have one use case, I may
have several realizations. To segregate the realizations I make different
realization "use cases" and then I associate these realizations to the use
case itself. When would you want multiple realizations you might ask? Well
it mainly comes up when there are either unresolved architectural issues or
the use case will be implemented using multiple architectures (e.g. rich
client intranet + less rich client internet). In a lot of situations though
there is exactly one use case realization for a use case and the
realizations start to look like they don't add much value.
