I don't have a specific answer to your question, but because of your
interest in the MVC pattern for web apps, you may be interested in the
Struts(http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/index.html), a subproject of the
Apache Jakarta project. This project is implementing MVC with JSP custom
tag libraries.
