Hi Maarten,

I think the fastest way to move a large number of classes from one package to another
is the relocate mechanism of Rose:
- create a new class diagram in the package where the classes should go (or use an
existing diagram) and open it.
- use the menu entry "query/add classes...", select the package and then the classes
to add them to the diagram
- Select the classes and the associations between the classes (and all associations
wanted) in the class diagram
- use the menu entry "edit/relocate" or CTRL-L to move the packages to the desired
package

Comments:
The associations are held in a substructure below the package, always called
"Associations". They should be moved together with the classes if you move them.
If you move the classes via drag and drop in the browser, new associations are
appended to the old package association group (I don't know why, but with Rose2000e it
is the behaviour).

Be careful not to select the dependency arrows (the dashed ones), then a relocation is
not possible (why?).

Regards

Thomas
