Well... the dashed oval can be generated by specifying the 'realize'
stereotype on a use case and specifying to display the stereotype as an
'icon', and you can drag it on to a class diagram. Uuuuggghh. I don't
really like the feel of doing it this way nor do I know if there are any
unwanted side effects. I do know that in the RUP examples (in the RUP
eCoach) it shows the use of the dashed oval for mechanisms but these
examples are in HTML format (I guess generated from Rose models) so I can
not explore how these dashed ovals were generated.
