Each instance of Rational Suite is a single product with different
components that can be used to perform specific types of tasks. So, when
one of those components is being used, you tie up your license. For
example:

- Say a company has 1 Enterprise Suite floating license. Jim is performing
requirements analysis with Enterprise Suite. It happens that he is using
the RequisitePro component of the Suite to do this. No one else can perform
a different task using that Suites license. So, no, someone else **could
not** be using a different component of the Suites product, such as Rose.

Subject: (ROSE) Rational Suite Licensing

Can anyone tell me how this suite functions from a licensing standpoint? For
instance, if I purchase a 2 user floating license, does that limit 2 users
to accessing any portion of the suite? Or can as many users access the suite
as desired, as long as no more than 2 users access a single application at a
time?

Any feedback is appreciated!
