I don't know of anything in Rose that will do exactly what you suggest.
I understand that Rose 2000 has "hyperlinks" in notes, but I haven't
used that, since Rose 98 is all that we have at the school.
You can always use packages to at least group your related sequence
diagrams, but you might not like the effect on the views hierarchy.
A better way might be to drag all related sequence diagrams into one use
case diagram. This also affects the hierarchy, though.
Your challenge is interesting. I hope others on the list have better
suggestions.
