In my diagram (Rose 2000e / Java) the operation is not underlined but with a $ between the icon for access mode and the signature.

Yes, my problem is that the operation that I declared static doesn't show underlined in the diagramm. Are you have the same behavior?
Thanks (Danke viels mals)
Alain.

1. You have to specify the Java-Language for the class (e.g. create a Component with Language Java and Drag&Drop the Class on it)
2. On Standard-Specification you choose the operation
3. On the Java-Tab of Specification of the operation you can choose "static"

Hello,
How do you tell rose "this is a static operation"?
(using Java as default language with Rose2000e).
Thanks.
Alain.
