Within Rational, there are a couple of examples of this:
1. Rose RT - Sequence diagrams are generated from the execution your
generated code within a runtime framework.
2. Rose Quality Architect - The initial cut at testing scripts are generated
from sequence diagrams.

Hello everybody,
As some investigation made me think that its not possible to generate
code from sequence diagrams with means of Rational Rose directly
(correct me if I'm wrong), I want to ask if there's any possibility to
accomplish this task using an external tool, preferrably a rose script
or plugin.
And what about the other way 'round (Code -> Sequence diagram)?
