Help required for a Media player filter(Codec) developed using DirectX

Scenario
=========
I've developed a filter "Filter.AX" using Microsoft DirectX SDK ( Direct
Show). Through it I can read my own file format with the extension
"NV1". The filter and the new file format has been registered in the
registry according to the procedure. Every thing works fine. The new file
format can be played using Media Player 6.0
Problem
========
But when it comes to Windows Media Player 7.0. nothing works. The player
opens the file but shows nothing. It does not even load the filter. I'm
unable to solve the problem. We have the following interfaces from the
filter:
IFileSourceFilter : For reading the file
ISpecifyPropertyPage : For the filter property
IPropertyPage: for the filter properties
Used Source and SourceStream classes for displaying the contents on the
screen. If there is something wrong or something is omitted then why it
works on Media Player 6.0.
Please Help me run this filter ( play my custom file format) with Windows
Media Player 7.0.
