Hello,

In the Logical View, in the Design Model, you might have many various
packages -- some might be will be actual Java packages while others might be
'Use Case Realization', 'Architectural Mechanisms', 'Process View' and other
packages that are used for analysis and design (that do not produce code).
At any given time, these 'analysis' type packages might produce errors from
'Check Model'.

Our Java developers, who are just getting into Rose and roundtrip
engineering are worried about the existence of these analysis packages.
They are worried that these packages will interfere with the roundtrip
engineering of Java code because of errors from 'Check Model' and from a
Java package perspective.

How is this handled?

What specifies which packages will create directories for Java packages in
forward engineering?

What Rose packages will be used as for Java packages in reverse engineering?

Can 'Check Model' be told to ignore certain packages that are in the middle
of analysis and will produce errors?

Thanks!
Rusty
