Hi Arno,
here is my proposal:
A "purchase product" state change generates an event, which in turn may
cause a "selling product" state change.

Subject: (ROSE) State-chart diagrams
Hi,
In a statechart diagram, it is possible to show states of an object.
In our system, we have a distinction (in products) between "selling product"
and "purchase product". (they are really two different products)
Being a selling product depends on certain states of the purchase product.
e.g. Only when a purchase product is "active", the selling product exists.
Only when the selling product is in the "maintainance" state, the purchase
product can be updated.
Since these are two different products, I would make two different
statechart diagrams.
But how do I show the connection between the two?
Greetings,
Arno Leenders
