There is always the old trick for duplicating packages:

    (1) Select a package and copy it (Ctrl+C)
    (2) Rename the package
    (3) Paste the clipboard contents (Ctrl+V)

You now have two packages with duplicated contents.

Of course, this was the easy part. Now, you face the fun task of keeping an
Analysis and Design Model in synch with only the rapidly diverging package
structure and the names of classes to help you.
The analysis and design model separation is fine for keeping a historic view
of the model (Making a copy of your model files is just effective for this,
though). Without supporting tools, however, you haven't got a hope of
keeping the two models in synch cost-effectively.

Good luck.
