If you use a CM tool, such as ClearCase or MS VSS or
CVS, you have expandable keywords, like $Id$ or $Log$.
When you check in, these keywords will be axpanded.
Note that you have to tell the CM tool that .mdl and
.cat files are text files that shall be scanned for
keyword expansion.
