if you want to not use the focus of control then there is an option for that
in the diagram tab of the options menu. I dont seem to have problem with
split or join in RR 2001.

Has anyone any tips on how to manipulate, and maybe even reseting the focus
of control on sequance diagrams?
I have a lot of problems editting existing diagrams as the focus of control
joins itself up automatically, but I am unable to split the focus of control
once joined without dragging messages to the bottom of the diagram.
Any ideas?
