I did this and it adds the call to the sequence diagram. However, the class
specification does not have the operation added.

1. On a sequence diagram, drop two classes (class A first and then class B).
2. Click on the "object message" icon [ "->" ] and connect the two classes.
This draws an arrow from class A to class B
with the arrow head pointing towards class B.
3. Now right click on the arrow and select "<new operation>".

Voila!! This displays the Operation specification dialog, define your
operation and then click on OK. The operation is now added to class B.

Cheers,

Bala.

I can't even seem to add methods to a class in the sequence diagram. How
are you adding them?

Hi,

Is it possible to add operations to a class connected to a swimlane in an
activity diagram? Since this is possible in sequence diagrams, I would have
hoped that it could also be done in activity diagrams.

Cheers,

Bala.
