A class containing a thread is an active class, shall be
represented by thick frames in class and object diagrams.
Standard Rose (not Rose RT) doesn't.
I use a stereotype <<ActiveClass>> in addition to the little
checkbox in the class specification, details tab. However, the
stereotype text <<ActiveClass>> isn't visible in objects on
sequence diagrams. So you've gotta know which class(es) are
active to fully understand your sequence.
On the collaboration diagram, you can choose for each object
to show concurrency.
The above goes for Rose 2000e.
