Try this - go to the Use Case View and create a Use Case diagram (right-button on the Use Case View in the browser, and select New->Use Case Diagram). Go to your original diagram and select all (Ctrl-A), then Ctrl-C to copy everything, switch to your new use case diagram and then Ctrl-P to paste. Then use the Edit->Relocate to move all the elements to the Use Case View. Now, go back original diagram to the original diagram - and assuming you are happy with the new diagram, delete all the elements on this diagram using the Del key. Do NOT Delete from Model, just use the delete key. The delete key will remove the elements from the diagram - but keep them in the underlying model.
