Hello Tony,
I'll take you step by step.
Note: If you have special circumstances that would require special settings
this may not be complete.
1. Open an empty model
2. Go to "Tools->Options..."
3. Select the "Notation" tab
4. Change the "Default Language" drop down to "ANSI C++"
5. Click OK
6. Right click on "Component View" and select "New->Component"
7. Give it a name
8. Right click on the component and then select "ANSI C++ -> Open ANSI C++
Specification...". A dialog will open.
9. Select a source root file directory.
10. Select a code generation root directory.
Note: If you don't select both of these it fully qualifies the #include
names. Although it may not on a reverse engineer.
11. Select a reverse engineering root package. I suggest you select a name
that makes sense.
12. Click on the "Add Files" button.
13. Add the files you wish to reverse engineer.
14. Click OK.
15. Right click on the component and then select "ANSI C++ -> Reverse
Engineer...". A message box will open when it is finished telling you so.
16. OK, your code is reversed engineered.
Thanks,

Subject: (ROSE) Reverse Engineering ANSI C++
Suppose I have a repository of C++ files, and I want to create a new model
from the code. How do I go about reverse engineering ansi c++?
