I have a lengthy requirement that I am trying to copy from one
document to another, using the Requirement Copy/Paste commands from the Tool
Palette. The copy and paste executes apparently correctly, but when I try and
save the new document I get an error, "Unable to retrieve overflow text for
requirement", followed by the error, "Runtime error 'TypeKey' not
understood."
RequisitePro then crashes, takes down NT, hangs the
system and leaves me with my only option to power down, pray that the disc
is not corrupt and reboot.
Why am I getting this error and why doesn't RequisitePro fail
gracefully in this, and other failure conditions. It also appears that, on
reboot and restart of RequisitePro, the connection to the database (SQL Server)
takes far longer than usual. Has anyone experienced this phenomena?
