Don,
You can add more that one "transition to self" in a state diagram if you
use the regular transition icon from the toolbar instead of the transition
to self icon. The steps are:
        1. Select the transition icon
        2. Click on the state
        3. Drag the cursor outside the state and release the mouse
        4. Move the curson to another place outside the state and click
        4. Drag the cursor to the state again.
This will add a transition to self. I usually make this transition
rectilinear by selecting the transition and the menu choice Format: Line
Style: Rectilinear.
Hope this helps.

Subject: (ROSE) State diagram: how to do multiple "points to itself"
operations?

Folks --

I have a state diagram, and one specific state is called "Enabled".

There are four or five operations or methods or "things that can be done"
and yet the object remains at the "Enabled" state.

The State Diagram tool in Rational Rose 2000 won't let me add more than one
"points to itself" lines.

So what do I do?

Thanks,
