Vince,
You need to set the Database to Oracle(you can use DB2, SQL Server too)
and then don't forget to link your schema to the database else the schema
will default to "ANSI SQL92" and you won't see the triggers.
here is a sample I generated
CREATE TABLE T_0 (
COL_0 SMALLINT NOT NULL,
CONSTRAINT PK_T_00 PRIMARY KEY (COL_0)
)
/
CREATE TRIGGER TRIG_T_00 BEFORE INSERT ON T_0
FOR EACH STATEMENT
COL_0 = 40

f or Oracle
Vincent,
This should work without any problems. I do it all of the time. What DB-type
do you use in the schema? Can you tell me more about your environment?
Btw. if you generate the DDL script, triggers can be found at the very end
of the script, not at the table definition, as they can relate to other
tables.

Subject: (ROSE) Using Rose Data Modeler to Forward Engineer Triggers for
Oracle
Have anyone been able to forward generate triggers from Rose 2001? I am
using Rose 2001 data modeller. I've created the logical data model, forward
generated the DDL and created a database schema.
Unfortunately, the forward engineering wizard does NOT actually generate
triggers even after I've said that it should. The attached graphic shows
the settings I'm using.
Thanks for any help.
Vincent.

Hi, all
I have another question. We are using ClearCase to track the versions of
the same model. Can we use the model integrator to compare two versions
of the same model?
Thanks
Ding

Rose includes a tool called model integrator.
It compares up to 7 different models.
It is in the Rose pulldown menu "tools"

Subject: (ROSE) Compare two Rose models
Hi All,
Is there a script out there that would compare two Rose models? I would
only like to compare classes, everything else really doesn't matter
(i.e..
Diagrams, etc.). If there is none, how could this be accomplished in
the
fastest and easiest way? A file comparison, etc.?
Thanks,
J.Laureano Ruiz
