Hi,
RUP and requisite Pro provides with numerous templates for documentation.
You definitely find it a problem where to start. I have overcome this
problem in my own way.

With full faith in RUP, recommending Iterative Process, It is best to
start with
the Vision Document. -- This document can be done after
interviewing/consulting with the person who is driving the project. This
person will typically be the primary/first/most important stakeholder of the
system/project. He will be able to tell the broad features of the project
and list out the other stake holders.

Then you can interview the other stakeholders and complete the stakeholders
documents. You may get some additional inputs that can be put in the vision
document containing the broad features of the system.

The glossary can be built alongside.

Throughout, you will have to revisit each document and build them fairly
well that they encompass all the requirements.

It is then time to get into the Usecase documents. You get more details on
the features and digout the usecases making up a feature. Meet the users who
will be initiating and benefitting from the use case. get the details and
complete the Usecase documents.

You can then start a test case (functional) document for each usecase
document that is complete.

The test plan document can then follow.

All throughout, keep in mind that none of these documents can be completed
in one go. they are related to one another and you need to revisit them from
time to time update them.

And that is what RUP says - Do everything ITERATIVELY!!!

Hope my experience helps you.

regards
