I was hoping for a more informative response, perhaps from a Rational
guru.
Perhaps I put my question badly. I'm looking for a way of finding the
operations allocated to a supplier object by sequence diagrams in a
model, and putting those operations into the class that describes that
object. An automated way, that is.
Sounds simple, doesn't it?
Looking at the .mdl file, you will find enough information to find the
operations for each class, provided that a class has been specified for
every object. When I finish grading a few hundred papers this month, I
might dash off a C++ or Perl program to just make this "cross-reference"
listing.
I haven't done any Rose scripting yet. Is the language capable enough
to stuff the classes with the discovered operations?
Maybe a better starting question is, has somebody already done this,
better than I would?
