How exactly does that work? I have Rose Enterprise Edition 2001.03.00, and
there does not appear to be any way to create multiple diagrams under the
deployment view.
It appears that the the deployment view itself represents the only
deployment diagram allowed in the model. Besides that it appears that
support there for UML deployment diagram features is pretty sparse!

You can have multiple diagrams in the deployment view. But since the
deployment view in Rose isn't a package as the other views, you can't divide
the deployment views into subpackages.
