Joining the list, I tough it was a incompatibility with SQL2000 so
installed SQL7.0 . The problem is the same. How do I use the Rose in my
Notebook, with DBs inside of it and Sync with the client DB in its
network ???

I use Rose 2001.03.00, DataModeler 2.0

Subject: (ROSE) Datemodeler and SPs

When i reverse engineer a SQL Server 2000 Database (tables and stored
procedures) to a Rose Schema all goes well.
But when i want to 'Compare and Sync' this model again, any
updated/added Stored Procedures (in the DB) wont be present in the Rose
Model. Even when i remove a SP from the Rose Model, it will not be
recognized by a 'Compare and Sync'. If i change a table (in the DB or
Rose Schema) all goes well.
Strange huh! Is this a bug, or is the Rose Data Modeler just an immature
product?
 btw: We use Rose 2001.03.00, DataModeler 2.0 > > anyone, > vincent
