Yes - you can do this.
Create an interface in the logical view.
Create a component in the component view and place on a diagram (or create
in a diagram, it will automatically appear in the browser)
In the Browser window - drag the interface on to the component - and it will
appear in your component diagram.
There are other ways to do this via the menu - but that is the way I
normally do this
