Can anyone tell me what the differences between 2000e and 2000A are.
We've been experiencing some bugs in 2000e which really bugged us, maybe
they are fixxed now > hope so!
greet,
vincent

Scott,
If you have 2001A installed, which has not begun shipping yet, so you may
not, under the project specification you will have a dropdown for IDE
integration and the list will be enumerated based on IDE's that you have
installed.

Subject: (ROSE) JBuilder IDE Support in Rose 2001a
I've read on the Rational information page that Rose2001a provides support
for leading Java IDEs including Borland JBuilder. I've gone to the Java
Project Specification (Detail tab) and checked under the Virtual Machine
selection box and see the same selections that were available for Rose
2000e, i.e., IBM, Microsoft, and Sun. I was expecting to see Borland here.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Scott Davidson

Support for the Leading Java IDEs
Developers can visually model their Java application in Rational
Rose AND work in their favorite Java IDE at the same time. That means that
developers have their favorite editor, debugger, and all of the other tools
that make up the IDE that they prefer to work in. Java and J2EE developers
work on their model using Rational Rose, then generate Java code directly
into the Java IDE using Rose's integration and forward engineering features.
Developers can also work in their IDE to develop code and reverse engineer
those code changes directly from the IDE into the Rose model. So the model
and the code always stay in sync. Rational's Java IDE support includes IBM
Visual Age, Borland JBuilder, Sun Forte for Java, and WebGain Visual Caf.
