Hello all,

Please excuse me if this question has been asked but I can't find it in an FAQ
and the gzipped-on-a-monthly-basis archives of this list aren't particularly
easy to search...

Env: Win 2K, Rose 98, Java 2

I am trying to import a huge tree of Java source and get Rose to throw all these
into a diagram with as much of the relationship information there as possible...
I am sure I remember doing this with Rose a few years ago but I haven't used it
since and I can't figure it out. Here are some related questions:

- I am getting some import errors due to my classpath setting - do I have to use
my system classpath to provide all dependent jars and directories? (As opposed
to somehow supplying it to Rose temporarily or for the purpose of this import
alone?) The framework I'm trying to import has a massive list of jar
dependencies which I don't necessarily want to drag in and I don't really want
on my classpath (but yeah, I can clear it afterwards)...

- I found in one mail a reference to the AutodrawMainDiagram property in
Rose.ini which I set to yes. I assume this is required but will the above errors
prevent this from having the desired effect? BTW, I have just noticed that when
I restarted Rose, it had switched this back to No(?!)

- Rose98 has default models for jdk114 and 115 - are there any particular
problems with using it with Java 2?

Any hints, experiences etc. very gratefully received.

Many thanks,
colm
