Hi,

I use the Visual C++ add-in for round-trip engineering of the code and
model. My team is big and each member has a different virtual path to
the source code. So I would like to set up a PATH MAP reference in Rose,
say $SOURCEROOT, to the root of the source code directory structure so
that all members can use the reverse engineering on their local machine.

For the Rose model below I set the path map $SOURCEROOT=V:\iwin32client.
When I saved the model the "V:\\iwin32client" part of the path below was
not replaced by the $SOURCEROOT symbol as I expected.

Am I missing something here or is this simply not implemented for Visual
C++ source code references? I am using Rose 2001.

         name    "ProjectFile"
         value   "V:\\iwin32client\\core\\clientlogic\\src\\Clogic.dsp")
       (object Attribute
         tool    "VC++"
