use cases are from another view.
with a use case realization you make a trace from logical view to the use case view. So you can see how a specific use case is implemented > because a uc-realization consists of several diagrams to explain this. Integrating Rose to RequisitePro is at use case level (not uc-realization level, but you get there with the trace).

from rup online : "To create traceability between a use case and its Use-Case Realization you drag the use case from the "Use Case View" and drop it on to the Traceabilities diagram in the Use-Case Realizations package. From the Use-Case Realizations package, drag the Use-Case Realization onto the Traceabilities diagram putting it close to the Use Case. Then, using the association tool from the diagram toolbar, draw an association between the Use-Case Realization and the Use Case. Open the Association Specification and assign it the stereotype realizes."

Use-case realizations are created in the Elaboration Phase for architecturally significant use cases. Use-case realizations for the remaining Use cases are created in the Construction Phase.

Subject: (ROSE) usec case realisation probelm
Importance: High

Hi,
What is the use of usecase realisation diagram in logical view ?I found it is same use case diagram in usecase view except the represntation of use case.Is there any specific advantage to have usecase realisation diagram in logical view.
As a clue somewhere I have read with usecase realisation u can integrate well.
Can somebody elaborate please?
This is very urgent for us as we are going to start the design on monday.

Thanks in advance.
