Title: AW: (ROSE) Converting mdl files to XMI (or XML) ?

You can download the XMI-Tool via

http://www.rational.com/products/rose/forms/xmisupport/xmisupport.jsp
http://www.rational.com/support/downloadcenter/addins/media/rose/UnisysRoseXMLTools.exe (7 MB)

Informations via:
http://www.unisys.com/news/releases/2000/jan/01196854.asp

I have installed it on my computer: many dlls, so I think it wouldnt run under Linux.
But there are some scripts and mnu-files, maybe you can use them under Linux:

exportxmi.ebs
exportxmi.ebx
importxmi.ebs
importxmi.ebx
uml.dtd
XMI.mnu
\XML Files\Model.dtd
\XML Files\uml.dtd
\XML Files\Uml13.dtd
\XML Files\Umlx13.dtd

            Folks,

I heard that it should be possible to save a Rose ClassDiagram in XMI
format instead of the rational's proprietory mdl.

After looking through the help and checking the rational website's
download section (in hopes of an appropriate add-in) I must say I haven't
found how to do that. XMI isn't an option in "SaveAs" and "Export" dialogs :(
Now I'm afraid it's only possible to do it in Windows.

I'm running Rose 2001 release rose.7.1.9701 for Linux.

Could someone please direct me to some doc that describes how to save a
ClassDiagram in XMI format (in Linux) ?

    Thank you for your help,
    Rodion
