Rose generates (Java-)code only with class-informations. So you don�t need sequence diagrams et al.
But the only way to "unload" these diagrams is to create a new package and a new controlled unit for them. Then you can define a workspace which contain only the classes.
But I think, you will not earn as much profit you want to have ...

I'm using RR 2000 Professional Edition.
Is there the way to generate Java classes without having all the subunits
loaded?
For instance I don't need the Sequence Diagrams to generate code.
