It took them a while, but I finally got an answer from Rose support
regarding java2rei:
The Java2REI code was developed for internal use only. It was not
intended
to be made available for customers. This means that the code has
only been
tested for the parts that Rational neededs for development and not
as a
complete functioning Java based REI for Rose. Additionally, we do
not have
any formal documentation for this code to give out. This interface
is not
supported for any use except within the Rose development team and is
company
confidential.
I have to admit that I'm a little bit disapointed about this. On the other
hand this seems to imply that
I should work somehow. The DataModeler add-in seems to be an example for
this.
Maybe the java ActiveX bridge is the way to go. If only I have more time to
try it...
