Hi All,

I am attempting to use Rose 2001 to reverse engineer Sybase 11.9. It seems
to me that Rose 2001 cannot see the Sybase ODBC connection on the machine
that i am using. As such, there was no Data Source option available to
select when I tried to accomplish this reverse engineer exercise.

Followings explained all steps I took:
1.      In Rose 2001, I select     Tool --> Data Modler --> Reverse
Engineer.
2. Then the Reverse Engineering Wizard screen popped up to specify
database. I then selected to Reverse Engineer from Database.
3. Then in the following screen, which I have to select the database
target, etc. I selected Sybase Adaptive Server 12.x and nothing down below
came up. I could not select the Data Source. It is obvious to me that Rose
cannot see my Sybase ODBC. I have been trying to figure the solution for
this but I still haven't been successful so far.

Could anybody assist me this issue please? Thank you very much for your
assistance.

Regards,
