You can use compare & sync functionality of the Rose data modeler. It will update the model or the database.

Subject: (ROSE) Update Rose from Oracle 8

I'm using Oracle 8 as a relational database and most of the tables in the database are shared with another project. Changes are implemented in the database and I would like to know how I can update the objects in my Rose model correspondingly.

What I would like to do is to run the Reverse Engineering in the Data Modeler and get the updates into my Rose model, but this doesn't update the objects that are in my Rose Model as it simply adds the objects from the database as new objects without recognizing that the tables already exists in the Rose model.

Is there any way to accomplish a swift update of the objects in the Rose model from Oracle 8?
