hiho,

Given the premise that you have a version of Rose that supports C++ code
generation you could set the default language to C++ (Tools | Options...|
[Notation Tab] | Default Language), create a class, select it and generate
code (Tools | C++ | Code Generation).

If you have existing classes that you want to generate code for (classes
that would have been created before you set the default language) you could
create components in the component view, set their language to be C++ and
assign the classes to the components (via drag-drop or some other method).
There is also a script that will change the language of classes here:
http://www.rationalrose.com/scripts/set_class_language.htm

If you don't see Tools|C++, then check to see if you can turn it on in the
Add In Manager (Add-Ins | Add-In Manager). Again, maybe you have something
like RoseVB that won't create C++.

Once you get going there are various nuances of the code generator. You
could read the Rose C++ section of the online help. You could also check
out some of the FAQs or Tech Notes here:
http://www.rational.com/support/technotes/rose.jsp. Or, once you have a
specific question or two, post it here.

Hello,
I am using Rational Enterprise edition 2000. I don't understand how to
generate c++ code. In case of VB it is simple and strait forward...
