Another instructor inadvertently used <<business entity>> last term, and it has been turning up ever since. For designing systems, we ordinarily use <<entity>>. She agreed that it was a slip, but she asked me what the difference is, and I said that I *thought* it must refer to use of the UML for business modelling, as opposed to system modelling. The Rose 2001 help doesn't say this explicitly, so I wanted to check. I haven't really looked into business modelling, so my confidence is shaky. OK, (r)Rational guys, you put <<business entity>> in there, so you must know why you did it. Please tell. -Eric ************************************************************************ * Rose Forum is a public venue for ideas and discussions. * For technical support, visit http://www.rational.com/support * * Admin.Subscription Requests: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Archive of messages: http://www.rational.com/support/usergroups/rose/rose_forum.jsp * Other Requests: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * * To unsubscribe from the list, please send email * * To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Subject:<BLANK> * Body: unsubscribe rose_forum * *************************************************************************
