Mr. Grady Booch use the term Scenarios before RUP. The concept is from
movies ! Like I say the concept is more important than the terms !

A scenario is an instance of a
given use case. The same relationship applies between a class and an
object.

It's only terms ! Use case is a term for describe many
scenarios (primary scenario et secondary scenarios). The term "Use case" can
be replaced by "Scenarios" but RUP use "Use case" , "Basic Path" and
"Alternative Path". Use case is difficult to translate in french, also I
prefer the term "Scenarios", "Primary scenario" and "Secondary Scenarios". The
most important is not the term but concept !
