I see some variations in the use of UML by different vendors. Are there any standard guidelines. Especially in web modeling I see more of such deviations.

In fact the way I see is "Are there Modeling guidelines?". - like Dos and Donts etc. For example: Should an arrow be shown in the reverse direction in a "Sequence Diagram"..........     etc (some books show this !)

What kind of conventions are you looking for? I mean, UML is a convention. Are you referring to how to apply UML on web based systems?

Hi,

It is a good question. Even I want to know whether any info. is available.

Hi,

I am trying to find out the conventions for Modeling. Surprisingly I could not find any.

Has anybody come across such conventions? Or if you have framed any please do let me know.
