Well you can reverse engineer the FoxPro objects themselves, see

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates.asp

Modeling Wizards

But not the database.  You would need to convert either Access or the Foxpro databases
to something the Data Modeler can understand, like ANSI SQL or SQL Server code.

The latest version of Rose, 2001A, Data Modeler supports forward
code generation for:

- ANSI SQL 92 standard

And forward and reverse engineering of the following DBMSs:

- IBM DB2 MVS and UDB 5.x, 6.x, and 7.0
- Oracle 7.x and 8.x
- Microsoft SQL Server 6.5, 7.0, and 2000
- Sybase Adaptive Server 12.x

The Microsoft Access 2000 Upsizing Tools allow you to migrate
tables and common queries in your Microsoft Access (Jet) database
to SQL Server or MSDE. See,

I would assume that Foxpro would have some simular way of
outputting the DDL to SQL.

Hi,
Can I do Reverse Data Modeling from an existing
"desktop" database like Access or Visual FoxPro?
