This will be available in the next release of Rose.  When the JSR-26 and the previous release of Rose came out, the EJB 2.0 spec didn't even include Home Interfaces, they were added to a revision of the spec later in the review process and therefore will be supported in the next version.

I'm using 2001A, and it doesn't support Local Interfaces which is part of EJB2. EJBLocalHome and EJBLocalObject need to be included.

In addition the Java cat files that ship with 2001A don't include all the new classes and interfaces, so we had to re-reverse engineer it.

btw: thanks for chasing from Oz. Being an ex-pat, it's nice to see different parts of the world helping out.

Peter,

what version of Rose are you using? EJB2 support was added to 2001A and is turned on via the Java Project Properties pages. As far as I know we implement all of JSR26, so please let us know if we have missed something and I will chase it up for you.

Regards,

Dave.

Has anyone figured out how to model and work with Local Interfaces in Rational Rose Java/J2EE. We really need the code generator logic to be augmented to support local interfaces and their interactions.

Does anyone at Rational know when an updated Rose will support this?

Thx

P
