hiho,
If an object on a sequence diagram is of a class that has a stereotype
associated with it, you can show the object as the stereotype icon for that
class.
There is a bit of an inconsistent UI issue with Rose here. For classes you
can right-click on the class and select "Options | Stereotype Display |
Icon" to make Rose use the graphical icon. For objects on a sequence or
collaboration diagram you have to select the object and then from the menu
at the top do "Format | Stereotype Display | Icon".

Subject: (ROSE) Can I add a new stereotype to sequence diagram?
Hi,
I have an existing model and I need to make more understandable by adding
stereotypes, but there aren't stereotypes for Sequence Diagram, only for
class and use-cases. It is true, or I do something wrong?
Thanks
Vivianne
