Steve,
It sounds like what you're trying to do is maintain the semantic
generalization relationships, but you want to hide these on your class
diagrams. Is this correct? If so, with your class diagram active, try the
"Query->Filter Relationships" command. A dialog will appear that will allow
you to show/hide any of the relationships you might find on a class diagram,
including generalization.

Subject: (ROSE) Hiding certain relationships
We have a large model that has a whole series of Generalization
associations back to one particular superclass that must stay on the model,
but that I would like to hide when plotting. Is there a way to do this? I
don't see one described in any of the doc I've searched. Our current Rose
Professional is 2001A patch 2.
