some weeks ago I posted some questions regarding Rose,JBuilder5 and ClearCase. Todd Dunnavant gave some answers but he was also not sure about the topic. Any additional information would be appreciated. Btw I am using an ClearCase addin which is called ClearCaseVCS by Jeff Kreska. Probably it is possible that that this can be changed to fire an trigger event in the case of an 'undo checkout'. But I don�t know how to contact Jeff Kreska. First, I'm assuming that you are auto-synching between Rose and JBuilder. Second, when you are auto-synching between Rose and JBuilder and you are creating changes in JB, the changes are reflected back into Rose when you save the source file on which you are working. This action in JB triggers an event in Rose which activates the auto-synch mechanism. So, after you undo the checkout, my intuition tells me that the auto-synch mechanism will not be triggered until you perform a resave operation on the source file. I'm a bit lazy right now. Now I try to roundtrip engineer my project using ClearCase and experienced some problems. 1) 'Undo check out' in JBuilder5 : I am using the CC addin for JBuilder and this is really working fine. But when I undo a checkout in JBuilder the changes are not undone in my Model. For example I checkout a class and add a new parameter to the constructor. Then I switch back to Rose and my changes of the class file are reflected in the model. Then I 'undo the changes' in the class file in JBuilder by undoing the checkout :so the new parameter in the constructor is removed, but in the Rose model it is still there. so model and source are out of sync. 2) changing model if class files are not checked out: I think this is not really a problem but somehow a little bit annoying. When I change the model and the corresponding class files are not checked out I receive an error that the class file is not modificable (this is OK) but the model is still changed (this is not OK, IMHO). Now the model and the source code are out of sync. 3) Does anybody know a convinient way how to change the directory where the code is generated into.
