hi,
raida, pretty close, the version i have is: 7.5.0103.1920 seems like this also has the bug?!? thanks for the clarification. oktay, hmmm... so essentially rose wouldn't reverse engineer a class level dependency irrespective! ;-) best, -Piyush ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: RE: (ROSE) dependencies not getting reverse engineered? Author: RSynnestvedt ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) at internet Date: 11/20/01 03:43 Is your version number 7.5.0103.1929? If so, unfortunately this is a defect, you are not missing anything. Imports removed: Due to Defect id 56434 imports not preserved during RTE after applying Patch 2. Workaround: After you Reverse Engineer and before Forward Engineering draw a dependency between the components. The defect should be fixed in the next release of Rose2002, coming sometime before the end of the year. Importance: High hi, i reverse engineered a set of java classes. and then i used the menu option Query | Expand Selected Element to generate the relationships for a class in a class diagram. Now this does ok, but for some reason it is not generating any dependancy relationships. the only ones it is showing are the associations and generalization. (c attached png image). associations are there for the TuxedoHTTPServlet class. but the dependancies are not shown. the same is happening for any other class too. btw, i have selected all in relationships dialog box. what am i missing here? best, -Piyush ************************************************************************ * Rose Forum is a public venue for ideas and discussions. * For technical support, visit http://www.rational.com/support * * Admin.Subscription Requests: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Archive of messages: http://www.rational.com/support/usergroups/rose/rose_forum.jsp * Other Requests: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * * To unsubscribe from the list, please send email * * To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Subject:<BLANK> * Body: unsubscribe rose_forum * *************************************************************************
