Hi

I'm using Rose Enterprise Edition, v2001A.04.00 + patch 2 = v7.5.0103.1929

I've tried to use Rose to reverse engineer a VB project, but I guest the
question will apply generally to other languages.

I can see that if I in one class have a declaration like: "Dim oMyReference
As Class1", and it is on module level (equ. Static) , Rose will generate an
association from this class to Class1. However, if the declaration is within
a sub or function it is completely ignored.

1) I assume that this is by design, but what are the arguments for
this? (dictated by UML?)
2) I can't seem to find a description of the mapping rules in the
online Help. Can anyone point me to them, or any other place where I can
read about them?
3) Can I change these mapping rules myself?

Thanks
Erik
