hiho, Another way is to just initially create the class from the browser. Right-click on the package in which you want to create the class and select "New | Class". You'll get the same "multiple name spaces" warning when it is identically named, but then you'll have the class. You can drop it on a class diagram or do whatever you want with it at that point.

Create the new class with a different name and then rename it in the model
browser. Rose will then warn you that the class exists in multiple name
spaces. Click OK and you will now have the same named class in a different
package.

Subject: (ROSE) Using the same name
Can anybody help?
If I have a database table called 'Test' in one diagram and I want to
draw an unrelated class diagram and name one of the classes 'Test' Rose
will not let me do this. It puts the database table in the second
diagram. How can I have a class with the same name as a database table
in another diagram?
Thanks
Nick
