Hi,
I am trying to connect to Oracle 8.1.5 database in Rational Rose Enterprise Edition. I chose 'Tools--> oracle8 --> Schema generation' and then after selecting 'Generate', I typed a simple SELECT sql statement and clicked on 'Execute'. It came with a new dialog box with fields to be entered as Database Server , User name and Password. When I am giving it , an error is thrown as 'Could not connect to database'. I can connect to the database using SQL Plus. What's going wrong?
